Original drab gray wrappers printed in red and black. Largely unopened. Bottom edge of spine a bit chipped. Top edge of spine flaking. Wrappers lightly sunned near edges. Leaves mildly toned. Overall a very good to near fine copy.

These poems "were composed in Germany, France, and America between 1929 and 1951. The first of them concludes the period of my youthful art" (author's note, translated from the Russian by Juliar). Nine of the fifteen poems originally appeared under pseudonyms ("V. Sirin" or "Vasilii Shishkov").
