Measures 14 x 10 1/2 inches. Matted, framed and glazed. Picture depicts Uriah Heep looking like he is up to something with his hands crossed and a sly look on his face. He is standing next to a desk and chair with what looks like a newspaper in the background. A very charming piece.

Uriah Heep is a fictional character created by Charles Dickens in David Copperfield. The character is notable for his cloying humility, obsequiousness, and insincerity, making frequent references to his own "'humbleness". His name has become synonymous with being a yes man. He is the central antagonist in the later part of the book.
