First edition. Octavo. 263 pp., [4, ads]. Original full brown morocco, pictorially gilt-stamped with an 3 men riding elephant on front and back covesr, man, camel and tree gilt-stamped on spine. With 22 black and white illustrations by William Daniell, each with a tissue guard. Library sticker on front paste-down. Tips lightly bumped and spine extremities rubbed, front hinge starting. Very good.
