Limited to 1,250 copies signed by Pogany on limitation page and on frontispiece. Illustrated with 12 tipped-in color plates, signed black and white frontispiece engraving, with loose tissue guard and numerous black and white mounted illustrations throughout.
Beautifully bound in contemporary full blue crushed morocco, decoratively stamped in gilt, red and brown with a circular flower motif on front cover, gilt-stamped spine with four raised bands, top edge gilt, others uncut. Spine sunned, extremities and tips rubbed, previous owner's inscription on front free endpaper and a few neat notations throughout. A very good copy.
