Small folio (11 3/4 x 8 3/8 inches; 298 x 214 mm). xxviii, [1]-249, [1, blank], [1], [3, blank] pp. With frontispiece which is an original etching by Jasper Johns, signed by the artist in pencil. Titles and initial letters are handset in Dante Titling, text is composed in Monotype Bembo. On English mould-made paper by T. Edmonds. With publisher's Prospectus laid in.
Bound by the Schuberth Bookbindery of San Francisco in the publisher's half blue morocco over blue and white linen. Fore-edge and bottom edge uncut. Spine lettered in silver. Some very minor rubbing to the top of the spine. Otherwise near fine.
