Original fine pen and ink and watercolor from "The Vicar of Wakefield." Matted, framed and glazed. Watercolor measures (9 x 6 3/4 inches; 233 x 173 mm), but probably larger under the frame. Frame measures (16 x 13 1/2 inches; 405 x 340 mm). Signed 'ARackham' on lower left corner. In a gilt frame.

Image is of a young woman, entering a room through a large wooden door. A contemporary sticker for art dealer "Arthur Ackermann & Son Inc" on the back of the frame. Also a sticker from the Santa Barbara Museum of Art on the back. Overall a very beautiful original painting.
