First edition illustrated by David Jones. One of 400 numbered copies, this being number 384 out of a total of 470. Quarto (12 1/2 x 10 inches; 319 x 255 mm). [x], 37, [1, colophon] pp. With ten copper engravings by Jones, eight of which are full-page.
Publisher's quarter white buckram over blue-green paper boards. Spine lettered in gilt . Very light darkening and foxing to buckram. A few tiny chips to board edges. Internally very clean. Overall a very good and very clean copy.
