Bombay Edition. Limited edition, signed by Rudyard Kipling in volume I. Complete in thirty-one small quarto volumes (9 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches; 240 x 165 mm). As all sets are, volumes 1-25 are from an edition of 1050, volume 26 is from an edition of 1000, and volumes 27-31 are from an edition of 500. Title pages and limitation pages printed in blue and black. Decorative initials printed in blue. Publisher's original paper spine labels bound in to the back of each volume.

Bound uniformly in full red morocco. Boards tooled in gilt with a wavy border. Spines spines decoratively tooled in compartments and lettered in gilt. Top edges gilt, others uncut. Marbled endpapers. A small, neat black number stamp to the top margin of each title-page. The final leaf of each volume with a small note in red ink. Still an about fine set.
