Large octavo (9 1/2 x 6 1/4 inches; 242 x 160 mm). 308, [2, blank] pp. With inserted signed limitation page, title-page printed in brown and black, Publisher’s note and prospectus laid in. With fifty-two full page illustrations including frontispiece. Frontispiece with tissue guard.

Publisher’s half parchment over terra cotta paper boards, gilt-stamped front board and spine. Pastedowns with an image of a flying plane. Original glassine. Edges uncut. Publisher’s note laid in. Glassine chipped and torn. Otherwise a beautiful copy. Housed in publisher's scarce original paper box.
